MISSION STATEMENT
The professional body for independent crop consultants supporting its members in their training and professional needs. Further enhance the awareness of the technical expertise of the truly independent crop consultant.
THE ASSOCIATION
The AICC was founded in 1981 to provide a professional organisation for the truly independent crop consultant. The Association sets a minimum standard of technical expertise for all its members. This includes the monitoring of the CPD programmes required to practise as advisors in both crop protection and fertilizer sections. All Full members are members of the BASIS professional Register and are bound by a strictly enforced code of conduct.
The AICC is governed by a Council of Management who are Directors of AICC elected from amongst its Full members and there are also Corporate, Associate, Junior, Retired and Honorary members. Apart from providing national representation to the industry, the Association has a regional structure with seven regions in England and one in Scotland.
Training is staged nationally and regionally. Members benefit from a high level of networking opportunity and AICC provides an effective R & D knowledge transfer platform. Members also benefit from corporate discount schemes.
